Information art.13 Reg EU 679/2016

With the entry into force of EU Reg. 679/2016, the writer company RIV SpA with registered office in Via delle Acacie, 8 Zona Industriale D4 28075 Grignasco (NO) hereinafter "Company", "owner" of the treatment is required to provide some information regarding the use of personal data.

Data source and purpose of processing

The personal data in our possession are collected directly from our website registration page and are transferred directly by the interested party for the request of a specific product or service (viewing technical data of our products or events organized by the company)
RIV SpA may also use your data for commercial purposes in order to send you communications about corporate news (for example, new products or trade fairs) considered functional to RIV SpA operations and for which the interested party has the right to give consent or not.

Methods of data processing

The data will be processed using instruments that guarantee security and confidentiality and can be carried out manually as well as through automated tools (both computer and telematics) to store, manage and transmit data. The data controller does not use automated decision-making systems and does not carry out profiling of registered users.

Categories of subjects to whom data may be communicated

We would like to inform you that the personal data you provided or acquired during the course of the contractual relationship may be communicated to the following subjects who perform functions strictly related or instrumental to our activity, such functions therefore shall be considered fundamental to the company's operations:
sales agents or distributors in the territory who have a contract with the Data Controller, both within and outside the EEC

As soon as your name is registered in our customer databases:

1. To the Financial Administration, to social security and welfare institutions, if necessary, to the Public Security Authority;
2. To transporters or other entities for services incidental to the supply;
3. To professional companies or entities for fraud control and debt collection;
4. To banks and credit institutions as part of the enterprise financial management;
5. To insurance companies;
6. To persons appointed to audit the financial statements and to administrative, tax and contractual consultants.

Your data will not, however, be disseminated.

Data retention period

The data provided during registration, if you do not access the platform anymore, will be automatically deleted after 9 months. If, on the other hand, your contact should lead to a contract, your data will be stored in our databases for the duration of the existing contract or, in any case, for the duration necessary to fulfil mandatory accounting and tax obligations and to communicate with authorities, as well as for the judicial protection of the holder's rights (10 years).

Rights of the interested party

Finally, we inform you that you can access your personal data at any time and you can request their correction or cancellation, limitation or you can oppose their processing by our company. To exercise your rights and to revoke your consent, simply send an e-mail to privacy@riv-vg.com which will be managed directly by the appointed privacy representatives.
